Empowering Moms: The IRIS Book Tour is Back and Better than Ever!

As the sixteenth anniversary of the IRIS Initiative approached last week, I decided to step out on faith and revive the IRIS campaign. This is especially timely, as next month marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I'm thrilled to host my next IRIS event at the Threadmill Complex in Austell, Georgia, and I hope you'll join me!

There will be book readings from the second editions of the IRIS Devotional (for women) and the IRIS Diary (for teen girls). We'll also have time for Q&A and a mini interactive workshop. It's a packed but meaningful 90 minutes, and seats are limited. Reserve your spot today!

Increasing awareness of Intimate Partner Violence has been a passion project since I entered foster care when I was a teen in Washington, DC, during the 1990s. I later studied Domestic Violence Prevention at the University of Massachusetts - Lowell (2011), earning a graduate certificate.
